People of good conscience are waking up this morning, only to ask whether they’re having a nightmare. Terrorists have slaughtered people at a Hanukkah celebration in Sydney, Australia. According to the latest reports, at least 11 victims were killed by gunmen, and more were wounded.
As part of my work correcting lies from the Big Media, I’ve examined news agencies in Australia. The one I trust to get this story right is Sky News Australia. (It’s very different from Sky News UK, which has different ownership.)
News giants — from The New York Times to CNN, the BBC and more — have radicalized the world. Spreading lies about Jews, The People of Israel, is their blood sport. They’ve globalized “The Intifada.” They’ve even taught people to believe Qatar’s state propaganda giant Al Jazeera. And they never hold themselves accountable. It’s up to us.
As Sky News Australia’s Andrew Bolt explained in a clip I shared in Episode 59, Big Media pretty much have a motto:
“A lie isn’t a lie if it’s in the right cause. Their cause: hating Israel.”
I’ve seen social media posts this morning say some news giants did not break into their coverage to report on this attack at first. The same agencies that drop everything to “report” as fact whatever Hamas, Iran, and other Islamist powers claim.

Here’s what we can expect next.
Starting very soon, reports will focus on a big lie of the left: that these terrorists, who murdered people at a crowded event in Bondi Beach, somehow don’t represent the ideologies of a massive number of people worldwide. (One shooter has already been identified.)
Big Media will fill screens and pages with “fears of Islamophobic attacks” in response. Headlines will pretend that antisemitism and Islamophobia are somehow responsible for equal numbers of attacks, which is the exact opposite of reality. No major news agencies will point out that there are zero examples of Jewish people worldwide going around attacking Muslim events, even as huge percentages of Muslim people support Hamas — including 37% in the U.S., as I report in the new episode:
The hero angle
Legacy media will fixate on a story of a Muslim person as a hero. There does seem to be one, who is indeed a hero, having disarmed one of the shooters. (Until his identity is confirmed, I’ll hold off on sharing it.)
But the media, as always, will give that one person more coverage than all of the Jewish victims combined. They’ll use that story to hide the radicalization of Islamists — a very different term from Muslims. And they won’t tell you that Muslim heroes fight Islamist terrorists every day — as part of the IDF.
We’ve seen this before. And we’ll see it again.
Hanukkah commemorates the survival of Am Yisrael, known in some countries today as “Jews.” The Maccabees refused to give in to conquerors who tried to erase their existence. A small group of Jews insisted on the right to live freely, with self-determination, in their nation of Judea/Israel/Zion. They beat not only the would-be conquerors, but also fellow Jews who bought into the empire’s lies. The “As-A-Jews” of their day.
Just like all empires, that one is long gone. As a peoplehood, Jews survived — and stood as a shining example to the world that you can exist as a minority. That includes fighting back, through war, when attacked. Am Yisrael Chai.
