It’s something both Biden and Trump agree on.
“Iran will never get a nuclear weapon on my watch,” Biden said in 2021.
“I just don’t want them to have a nuclear weapon because the world will be destroyed,” Trump told NBC’s Meet the Press this month.
Now come the latest headlines: “Disagreements on Iran, Gaza straining Trump-Netanyahu relationship,” according to NBC. “Trump Casts Netanyahu Adrift With Shifts on Iran, Houthis, Gaza,” Bloomberg says. “Trump Faces a Moment of Truth on Iran,” reads the headline for a Wall Street Journal editorial by Karen Elliott House, the paper’s former publisher.
As Trump’s trip to the Middle East takes over much of the “news cycle” (a problematic term), I want to empower you with the clearest, most truthful analysis of what’s really been going on in the region in recent years.
