Leaving Yom Kippur services yesterday and walking the kids to the car, I kept an eye on all the cars passing by us along the street. All it would take is one person with an AR-15 to cause mass slaughter. Making it through services without being attacked in 2025 felt like the world’s most depressing “win.”
Then the came the news about Manchester, England, where a knife-wielding Islamist terrorist plowed a car into pedestrians. Unlike the Islamist terrorist who plowed into a crowd in New Orleans on New Year’s, killing 14, this Manchester attacker did not achieve his murderous goals vehicularly. So he got out and began stabbing people.
Current reporting indicates that the two victims were Adrian Daulby and Melvin Cravitz. One was apparently shot unintentionally by police, who also killed the terrorist. Either way, all the deaths and injuries are on him — and the media-driven ideology that he embodies.
Although I generally avoid reporting names of attackers, it’s worth noting this: His first name was Jihad. Even that won’t give far left anti-Israel “protesters” a wakeup call. They will continue to call for global jihad. This is what they want.
And the mainstream media will continue to pretend that “jihad” is somehow not a call for evil, horrific violence.
The Bishop of Manchester, David Walker, issued a statement saying he is “deeply shocked and saddened” by the attack at Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation. While I appreciate this, I question the first adjective. Manchester is the same city in which an Islamist terrorist killed 22 people at an Ariana Grande concert in 2017.
It was one of several such attacks that year alone. And it was the deadliest in England since the 2005 London bombings, when British-born-and-bred Islamist terrorists killed 52 people and wounded hundreds more.
‘They’re just going to carry on doing it’
Over the past two decades, support for Islamist terrorism has grown across England and the rest of Western Europe, as well as in the United States. Yet another pro-terror rally is scheduled for Saturday in London. People are proudly marching in support of exactly this kind of of terrorism.
“It is the third such mass law breaking event organised in recent months,” Metropolitan Police say. “The previous two events have seen a total of 1,422 people arrested, the vast majority for supporting a proscribed organisation.”
Despite those arrests, the UK has done precisely nothing to stop this madness. As British independent journalist David Collier explained in Episode 54:
“We’re not addressing it and we’re not criticizing it… The only way you can push back against this is if you challenge it. If you let them walk through your cities and walk through our streets as we do, chanting this stuff, they’re just going to carry on doing it. My expertise is in Europe and the UK. We are way in front of you on this, and we are in deep, deep trouble.”
So, was the Manchester synagogue attack really shocking?

It’s particularly unsurprising given that the UK government has been told repeatedly in recent days that its decision to “recognize” a “Palestinian state” obviously rewarded Islamist terrorism.
It does not take a genius to understand that less than two years after Gaza carried out the biggest per capita terrorist attack of modern times, you don’t give Gazas’ terrorist leaders a giant political victory. Anyone with extremely basic common sense can see that.
The services that I, and so many other members of Am Yisrael (“Jewish” people), attended recently marked our survival for another year. The world is so much better off for it.
