In the big picture of humanity, certain basics are clear today. If Big Media was doing its job, it would tell you that.
Heads of an evil regime, responsible for mass slaughter through Islamist terrorism, have been killed by the two democracies they hate the most: The United States and Israel. Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and dozens of others — men who also ordered the killings of tens of thousands of their own citizens in the past few months alone — are now gone.
After decades of using oil money to fuel death cult operations and occupations, Iran’s leaders have paid a price. That’s right, Iran is a true occupier. Throughout my 20 years inside Big Media, I never ceased to be amazed at how news agencies got this so fundamentally wrong.

Now, of course, Iran is continuing to rain down terror from the skies, trying to kill as many civilians as possible. Some rockets make it through — see reported death tolls here. I hid in bomb shelters in Tel Aviv as Tehran did the same thing last June.
Iran does what college rioters falsely accuse Israel of doing. Yet those same voices are silent. Because a centerpiece of the Islamic Republic’s success has been in its influence operations. Through memetic warfare, it turned legions of young people into pro-terror, anti-democratic shills.

If only there was an industry focused on truth that could set people straight. An industry that works to earn people’s trust, rather than recruiting radicalized journalism school graduates. An industry that calls out all leaders’ lies, whether they come from the right or the left. One that exposes dangerous, authoritarian moves by both Trump and Mamdani.
The world doesn’t just need a countermovement against terrorism. It needs a countermovement against lies. That’s what They Stand Corrected is all about.
