Happy New Year! Here’s to a year ahead filled with truth-telling and holding the media accountable.
My promise to you: I’ll keep delivering as many fact checks as I can. Big Media have massive megaphones purchased with billions of dollars. They rely on volume; I rely on facts. I’ll do everything in my power to pierce through the noise and get you the truth.
The fact that almost the entire world calls it 2026 is a powerful sign of how ideas can snowball into the most massive movements. Some guys in what are now called the 500s, 600s and 700s attempted to calculate when Jesus was born. They used Passover dates and — yes really — blamed the Jews for their difficulty. At the time, the “media” was composed largely of letters, scrolls, and town criers carrying propaganda. It spread the word, convincing masses.
When it comes to how people behave, there really is “nothing new under the sun,” a saying attributed to King Solomon, who went by the luni-solar calendar. (Looking into the date’s origins, I did not seek out antisemitism; as always, it was just there.)
That same propaganda and historical revisionism are around today, in new forms. Take a look at my post on X, which references a recent post here on Substack.
The media never corrects these claims. Instead, it propagates them.
